:
A visit to Japan can be as exciting as a visit to Paris or Cataluña if you know what to do. Japan has many different tourist attractions to make your trip worthwhile. Whenever you are visiting another city, it is wise to know about that city, especially the places which suit your interests and make the trip enjoyable. You can consult a guide book to help you discover these places.
This article will give you a short tour of Japan. To be precise, I have listed down the top five places to visit in Japan based on several reviews, including my own. My trip to Japan was one to remember; your trip can be too! Just check out the following places.
Mount Fuji:
It is the highest mountain peak in Japan and most of you must have heard or read about it in world geography. For those who haven’t, Mount Fuji is more than 12,338 feet high. There are tour guides who help you climb the mountain. These tours usually start early in the morning. This tour alone can make your trip worthwhile. Don’t forget to take your cameras along, in order to capture one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see. However, be warned! Do not go climbing in winters, it will also be a tour you will remember, but won’t wish to experience that one again!
Meiji Jingu Shrine:
One of the most popular tourist attractions in Japan, this shrine is dedicated to the late emperor Meiji. It is an extremely peaceful place, which some say feels like heaven. It is surrounded by a forest that covers over 175 acres of land. The atmosphere and the environment make a perfect mixture to show respect to the emperor and give its tourists a relaxing environment.
A Tour of Kyoto and Nara:
It is another historical but beautiful and informative tour in Japan. The cities of Kyoto and Nara both take you to a trip to the history of Japan. With several shrines, temples and other traditional buildings you can witness the formation of the culture of Japan. These cities are considered as national treasures by locals. If you do not have enough time, you should definitely have a tour guide to show you the important places first.
The Imperial Palace:
The imperial Palace is a landmark. It was built in the early 17th century. It is surrounded by distinctive buildings and expensive ornamental gardens. The environment around the area is so peaceful that if you are from a hectic urban city, you will wish you were living here. It is the white house of Japan – the emperor lived in this building. So you can imagine how well equipped and maintained it would be.
Disney Land and Disney Sea:
Japan has several huge amusement parks, but one that stands out from the rest is Disney Land. As the original one, Disney Land is a great place for family entertainment. It has everything: amazing breath taking rides, plays, drama and the most important attraction for kids, real-life cartoon characters. You should definitely check it out.
This ends the list of our top five things to see in Japan. Hopefully, you will find them as interesting as I did.
