: One of the biggest reasons people travel to Kaula Lumpur is the shopping, shopping and more shopping. Those are not the three reasons though. That is the first. Another reason to visit this area of the world is to see the Petronas Towers. The towers offer a look at one of the greatest architectural buildings in the world. While you are there you should also take a step back in history and enjoy the historical architecture that is on display.

Bukit Bintang
This area is said to have an abundance of boutiques and mega malls. It will give you the feel of being on the Champs Elysees in Paris. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to go to if you get hungry while you are shopping. There is also a plethora of night time activities and entertainment.

Central Market
If you are looking for a simpler venue to enjoy, this shopping area is the place for you. There are shops that sell craft goods from Borneo and Indonesia. You can still be entertained at this shopping area. On the weekends they have musical entertainment just outside this market. This will make your trip enjoyable while you are taking a rest.

Jalan Petaling
If you don’t get enough shopping in during the day you can go for a night shop in China Town. It is open between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. While you are doing this you must look out for the possibility that some of the good may be counterfeit. Don’t be surprised if you pick up something that you didn’t think you would.

Petronas Towers
While you are in Kaula Lumpur you must visit the Petronas Towers. You don’t have to worry that you are missing shopping, however, as there are many retail outlets you will see while you are at the towers. The are not the single tallest building in the world. They do hold the distinction, though, of being the tallest twin buildings in the world. Another fascinating feature is the skybridge that was built between the two towers. The bridge is on 41st and 42nd floors. This makes it the highest two story bridge in the world. It is fascinating to stroll in between the two buildings.

Merdeka Square
Merdeka Square also known as independence square can be considered a gathering place. In the square you can find the National History Museum. Merdeka Square also serves as the venue for various events. It presents open air concerts and carnivals. Occasionally it serves as the start/finish line for marathons. Sometimes a cricket match will be held at the square. So check out all the events that you can enjoy at the square.

Kaula Lumpur will not disappoint. There is so much culture and architectural phenomenon to learn from. So book a trip today, you will not be disappointed.
